I have been mulling over doing this for some time and have decided to take the leap. My goal in doing this is to clearly illustrate to gearbox that a the release of an official SDK is a worthwhile endeavor.

How do we do that? By banding together as a community of Borderlands fans to produce content TOGETHER for borderlands 1.

Specifically i have a plan and distinct vision for a project that would require use of the unofficial BL1 sdk by multiple parties.

Details will be posted in another thread depending on the reaction this notion recieves by the community at large. If the response is in favor of such an effort then i will outline what project zypher specifically is, and begin to enlist the help of people capable of facilitating the project with their ability and passion.

If your willing and able to create content, while operating under the direction of the project lead (me/more experienced bl1 modders) symply post "Zypher production"

If you are willing to test content simply post "Zypher testing"

If you have modding experience but are unfamiliar with the bl1 sdk, Post "Zypher Assist"

If you cant directly contribute but very much would like see the goal of an official sdk for bl2, simply post "Zypher fanbase"

Feel free to leave some more detailed info about your abilities experience and passsion for fan created content of borderlands in general as well. The more info the better. Many of you i am already familiar with... but this is not an elitist only project... i dont care if youve been lurking as a guest up until now. Join up and a place will be made for you.

To the newer folks who are already daily contributors to the community... I welcome you and look forward to a cooperative effort to achieve a bl2 sdk.
