Battled Saturn today and cant help remember the original game videos for borderlands showing another planetary named boss in oppurtunity. This got me thinking about having Planetary Raid bosses added in a dlc.
Here are some ideas for how they act and what they do.
-All of these bosses are hyperion loader bots.
Jupiter- Due to the sheer size of the planet the boss would reflect this enormous size. Possibly rivaling the leviathon. The bot will have several ion cannon covering his body like saturn, but in greater number. After taking so much damage to his health he will "dispense" robots named after jupiters many moons to aid in battle. They wont be hard to kill but support jupiter very well. Last is Jupiters game changing weapon, a massive Red Eye cannon that fires volleys of energy blasts.
Venus- Would be a feminine robot that lets out sexy innuendoes like mad moxxi. During the fight when you damage her she will drop lines like "dont you think im pretty?" and "dont you wanna me my new toy". She will primarily focus on incendiary type attacks. Her special releases a fire nova that sets areas of the ground on fire and will instantly set you on fire should you walk into one of the flames.
Pluto- Im back from when pluto was a planet and im making this guy creative since they now say pluto is no longer a planet (stupid meteorologists). This bot is actually a special type of Surveyor that has the lower body of a Badass Surveyor with a slim streamlined upper body with arms and the head of a Super Badass Loader. It will have a matte black paint job. Pluto is constantly on the move and attacks with they typical shock blast of normal surveyors save for the fact that its attacks cause mini novas.When not using shock blasts it will streak by with its arm out in your direction and digistruct a massive blade to cut down the Vault Hunter. At half health it will start to perform its Pluto Rising attack. This is where Pluto flies up high into the sky and performs a meteor crash into the vault hunter. If this attack isnt properly dogded you go into a instant ffyl.
Ive yet to come up with the other bosses yet. Need to look up mythology and general facts on the other planets to come up with ideas. Anyway i look forward to hearing consructive criticism and what everyone thinks. If you have any ideas to add please post them thanks.
