Concept Character : Furio The Marauding Hero

Greetings! my first post here. This is one of my character concept for Borderlands 2. Furio is a melee based character, can be said as a combination of Krieg and Zer0. Able to brawl but can build up his melee for a strong finisher attack. His overall design and his skill tree especially the Masked Hero is inspired from tokusatsu heroes. Sorry if it's rough and unfinished, i wanted to complete it at first, but it turns out i have to move out of country in several weeks for my job. So i'm rushing it because there are still 3 more characters i have made, but not yet drawn. And please pardon any grammar mistakes, i'm not a native English speaker.



Story : Originally live as a bandit, after reading too many comics and not enough porn, Furio decided to step up and trying to become a hero. But he caused so many havoc whenever he tried to save someone, he ended up becoming a most wanted criminal. The armor he used was actually given by Handsome Jack himself after he tricked Furio to become a vault hunter, the armor itself is nothing but a movie props and its effect when worn by Furio is just a placebo effect. Furio is wanted for copyright infringement and destruction of intellectual properties

ACTION SKILL
TRANSFORM! : Digistruct a power armor. You gain 120% gun damage, 200% melee damage, 3% health regeneration and 30% damage reduction for 10 seconds. At last 2 seconds you will enter finisher time, gun damage will cause 200% damage and melee will cause 500% damage. Any attack performed during finisher time, automatically end Transform! Duration : 10 Seconds, Cooldown : 30 seconds

TREE SKILL
ACTION HERO : Improves overall gameplay in a "unique" way. But its potential relies on luck.

Tier 1
Kevlar Wallet : Increase Maximum HP by +4% per level.
Most Wanted : 4% chance per level to ignore gun damage.

Tier 2
Under Dog : Kill Skill. When enemy is killed you gain +6% gun damage and +0.4% shield regeneration per level
Classical Critical : You have certain chance per level to inflict critical hit damage even when not hitting any critical spot. Chance are based on type of weapon (refer to elemental chance for reference).Melee has 30% chance at lv 5. May active even at enemy without critical spot

Tier 3
Caliber Equality [Game Changer] : Increase gun damage / critical damage, based on your magazine capacity. High magazine weapon will receive more damage bonus. Low magazine weapon will receive more critical hit bonus. Up to +20% gun, up to +20% critical damage. Example: Infinity with only 1 ammo will receive +20% critical damage bonus and no damage bonus. Bandit Rifle with 100 ammo will receive +20% damage bonus and no critical damage bonus. SMG with 50 ammo will receive +10% critical damage and +10% gun damage. Ammo count are capped at 100.
2 Seconds Left : Add a random amount of time to your Transform! duration. Add minimum of 1 seconds with maximum of 3 seconds at lv 1. Next level increase minimum and maximum duration by +0.75 seconds per level. Finisher time still limited to the last 2 seconds.
Off Screen Reload : When you emptied your magazine, you have 6% chance per level to automatically fill your magazine without reloading. Prevent Tediore reloads throw

Tier 4
Fallen Rising : After getting Second Wind you gain bonus +3% gun and melee damage. Regenerate 0.2% of your health per level for a few seconds.

Tier 5
Makeshift Nemesis : Attacking enemy has chance to tag the enemy with "nemesis" tag. You will gain 30% bonus damage against enemy with nemesis tag, but you will also receive 30% more damage from that enemy. Tag will disappear if other enemy without nemesis tag is damaged by you. Only one enemy can be tagged at a time. Per next level damage is increased by +5% and damage against you are reduced by -5%.

Tier 6
Last Minute Miracle [Game Changer ] : Whenever your health is below 30%, your [Action skill] may instantly replenish during cooldown. Transform! will restore all health, shield and activate shield effect regardless of its activation requirement for a short seconds.


MASKED HERO: Offensive skill tree focuses on melee combat and improving Transform!

Tier 1
Aggressor : Increase Melee damage by +5% (+10% during Transform!) per level
Tech Support : Regenerates 0.4% of your maximum health whenever your shield is recharging.

Tier 2
Anti-Grunts : Kill Skill. Killing an enemy during Transform! Will reduce your cooldown time by -0.4 seconds per level for each enemy you killed
Point Blank : +4% gun damage per level when shooting enemy at melee range.

Tier 3
Raider Kick [Game Changer] : Melee Override. Performing melee while airborne will unleash a 3 meters diving kick that knock back enemy. Deals 300% melee damage. Has 15 seconds cooldown time. During cooldown a regular melee will be used instead.
Gun Kata : When you successfully attack enemy with melee, you have chance 6% chance per level to fire your pistol at the same time. Only works if you currently equipped a pistol in hand. Only works with normal projectile.
Explosive End : Kill Skill. Killing enemy with melee cause them to explode and deal explosive nova damage to nearby enemies. Explosion started 3 seconds after death. Damage depends on ranks and enemies level.

Tier 4
Double Finish [Game Changer] : Allow you to shoot once and melee once during finisher time
Boosted Fist : Performing successful melee will add one Boosted Fist stack. Each stack increase melee damage by +10% per level at maximum of 5 stacks. At 5th stack your melee damage will be imbued with additional shock damage and all stacks will be depleted.

Tier 5
3 Minutes Hero : Increase Cooldown rate by 6% per level. During cooldown, increase melee damage and movement speed by +6%

Tier 6
Final Blast [Game Changer] : During Transform! press [Action Skill] to digistruct an E-Tech gauntlet that shoot beams that will continuously damage every enemies on line of fire. Damage based on player's level and always deal 100% damage regardless of enemy type. When using this, you will be immobile. Press [Action Skill] again to deactivate Final Blast , can only be activated once every Transform!


ANTI-HERO : High risk high reward skill tree. Encourages you to take damage and build it up to a strong counter attack.

Tier 1
Hardcore : Increase maximum health by +8% per level. Decrease maximum shield by -6% per level. (Active only if you have equipped a shield)
Devil Inside : Increase melee damage the lower your health. Up to +20% melee damage per level.

Tier 2
Shield Riot : Increase damage caused by shield effect by +10% per level. Increase Shield Recharge Delay by +10% per level.
Last Resort : At your last magazine you gain +10% gun damage per level. When your ammo is empty, you gain +20% melee damage per level. You gain extra +10% melee damage for every empty weapon in your weapon slot.

Tier 3
Avenger's Karma [Game Changer]: When taking health damage, damage will be added to your next successful melee attack. Overkill damage with bonus damage will return as health. Bonus damage last for 5 seconds counted from last damage. Doesn't work with DoT.
Death's Best Friend : In FFYL you will deal constant slag damage to your nearby enemies. Damage increase the longer you are in FFYL. Damage based on ranks and player's level.
Anger Management : When you are attacked, you will get 1 Anger Management stack. Each stack will grant bonus to your next ranged or melee by +1% per level. Only successful hit to enemy will get damage bonus and all stacks will be consumed. Stacks slowly decay if you haven't been hit for a while. Doesn't works with DoT

Tier 4
Serve It Cold : Not attacking your enemy during Transform! will increase your next damage by 5% per level per seconds.
Secret Pact : You can sacrifice your Transform! to get a second wind without killing any enemy. Cooldown rate is reduced by -100%. Each level increase the cooldown rate by +25%

Tier 5
Lucifer : Killing enemy will grant you a Lucifer Stack. Each stack will increase your gun and melee damage by +5% and heal 5% of your health. Stacks will quickly decay after a while and each stack will cause 2% health damage. Maximum of 10 stacks per level.

Tier 6
Grim Origin [Game Changer] : When being hit by elemental properties you have chance to activate Grim Origin, will immediately active if you are inflicted with status effect. Your melee gain additional element damage that has no damage penalty. Persist for 8 seconds disregard of the actual status effect. Reduces damage and duration of status effect by 50%. Multiple elements may stack together.
