Like many of you here I've been thinking about how a new character could be added to the game. I have quite a few ideas but I want to share my strongest one.
Since I don't have a really good name for the class right now, lets call it The Fly.

The Fly is a midget vault hunter whose primary focus is flanking and hit and run tactics. His job is to create openings for other characters to take advantage of by harassing enemies. Mobility is his greatest asset and he must use it if he wants to survive on the battlefield.
His action skill is called eviscerate. The Flay uses a small and powerful jet pack to send his self spinning in a ball at high speeds. His body is covered in spikes and hard objects allowing him to deal massive damage to his enemies.
Backstory
Born and raised on Pandora the Fly has had a rough time. Born into a infamous bandit clan(Ripper Clan maybe) he has difficulty asserting himself. His whole life he has had to use his speed and intelligence to keep himself alive. As a way to give him an edge on the battlefield, The fly uses a jet propulsion system to send himself flying at enemies. To prove himself he has vowed to take out Handsome Jack and to acquire the power of the vault for himself. How will this Vault Hunter fair?
Personality wise he is a complete smart ass.
Skill tree Blur
This skill tree is all about maximizing the characters mobility. Her are some ideas
Unstoppable force:
As you move you gain stacks of momentum, each stack increases your overall speed and grants reload and firing rate bonuses. Stopping or slowing down will take away stacks and standing still will result in stat penalization.
High Flyer:
Increases character movement speed and jump height.
Mirage:
For each stack of momentum your character gains a chance to dodge bullets.
Cannonball!:
Jumping from great heights and landing will trigger a massive explosion. The damage and radius scales with the height from which you fall (there will be minimum and maximum height to determine the damage).
Skill tree Shredder
this skill tree is all about enhancing the Fly's action skill and harassing capabilities.
Dead leg (melee override):
While sprinting the Fly can melee, this will send him in to a slide tackle that can knock down enemies. Damage and distance traveled can scale with momentum
Pinball Wizard:
The Fly can use eviscerate three times in a row, upon a successful kill he gains another chance to use eviscerate.
Skill tree Pendulum
This skill tree is about crowd control and distracting and helping allies.
Get of your ass:
reduces time to revive an ally and increases fight for your life time.
Back off:
increases damage of eviscerate and increases enemy knock back.
Vacuum:
Pulls nearby enemies into the wake of eviscerate and deals minor damage.
