Eridian Gun mods

Gearbox has made clear there will be absolutely no gun crafting, so how about gun mods similar to class mods but change the aspect of the guns abilities. These mods would be equipped just like a class mod but add two accesories to your weapon instead of the one already in use. Examples:

Vladof mod 10% increase fire rate
Tediore mod 10%reload speed
Hyperion mod 10% gun stability
Bandit mod 10% accuracy
Dahl mod 10% burst fire
Maliwan 10% elemental effect
Torgue 10% explosive damage
Jacobs 10% damage

These mods can be used on any weapon, from any manufacturer. And stats above are based on level 50 and in blue rarity. So the effects can go up based on level and mod rarity. Blue 10%, purple 15%, legendary 20%, and pearl 25%.

Now Eridian elemental mods would completely alter the guns elemental effects. Basically an Eridian explosive relic would change the already explosive elemental damage to Nuclear damage. This would change the already elemental damage to x10 with greater area of effect (radius). Examples:

Corrosive damage would change to radiation damage
Explosive damage would change to nuclear damage
Shock damage would become lightning damage
Fire damage ( red flame) would become fire damage (blue flame)
Water damage would become ice damage

Now this is based on same element weapon/ mod. If you equip different elements you would get a gun with 2 different elements. The effects would be similar to the Florentine but you would not gain the same element bonus (x10). The only two that benefit from not being the same element are non elemental and slag.

Also there could be elemental mods combined with manufacturer mods as rarity increase. Example:

Vladof legendary mod
Fire damage
+10% fire rate
+10% movement speed

These mods would be on top of any class mods used. There would be other attribute also, as in movement speed, magsize, projectile speed, and bullet spread, which would tighten up bullet patterns. This concept can also be applied to shields. Increase in delay, cap, recharge, nova, roid, spike, or elemtal resistance or effect. You could even add nova, roid, or spike damage where there is none.

Any ideas or commits are encouraged. And I thought adding water/ice and the bandit accuracy would be a great improvement.
