New Class Idea: Shield Nomad

If you ask me, new classes are the coolest way of adding replayability to the game while also adding opportunities for old weapons to be revisited and made useful.

I'm not sure if gearbox is planning on adding any additional classes to the game, but it'd be pretty awesome to see a total of 8 for two unique teams of 4, so here's an idea for one and based on the response I might have an idea for another.

How about a Nomad who's special ability is spawning three midgets on his shoulders that shoot at people? Reusing the cooldown before they disappear throws them at enemies to melee attack them.

Proposed talent trees:

Merry Midgets:
Straightforward, utility tree. Should have buffs for cooldown, explosive damage and fire rate. It's for crowd control, second winds and convenient looting.
-Non-elemental guns receive bonus gun damage and KNOCKBACK at the cost of accuracy (For use with something like Sledge's Shotgun and not Snipers, this could also apply to the metal shield nova game changer to be mentioned later)
-Perhaps, until you reload, you could build stacks that drastically increase mag size and damage, but also decrease reload speed and fire rate as drastically. That way your shots would be powerful and never ending, but would get painfully slower until you give in and reload. The reload would be long but would reset the cycle, and until then you would have to rely on your midgets and shield.
GAME CHANGER 1: Midgets can go suicidal on throw or death for second winds, resetting your cool down
GAME CHANGER 2: Midgets auto loot the surrounding areas, opening chests for ammo, eridium, torgue tokens, possibly bringing anything above blue rarity back to the player and either bringing back nades or throwing them themselves

Shield Basher:
Tanking tree for protecting midgets and team mates. Needs a way of keeping aggro and naturally a ton of shield buffs so you can handle it. Iron sight walk speed would actually be an important stat too.
-Putting a single point in this tree gives you a metal shield and straps the midgets to it like Bad Maw
GAME CHANGER 1: Whenever you iron sight you project a shield wall, similar to sentry bubbles, in front of you
-Adds spikes to your shield to hurt melee attackers
GAME CHANGER 2: When you let go of the shield or if it breaks, all the damage it suffered is collected and thrown back in a single nova blast

Elemental Nomadic:
For pure damage output, and synergy with the other trees. Keeping your shield up will keep the midgets applying effects like antagonists, or ditch the shield and combine it with the the fire rate, damage and knockback bonuses from the midgets tree.
GAME CHANGER 1: Gives your midgets an assortment of elemental weapons
-Elemental effect chance increased when shield is up
GAME CHANGER 2: Adds a shock nomadic (Slag? Corrosion?) backpack to your character, increasing elemental damage. Also, applies the effect even with non elemental guns, and chains to apply to nearby enemies

Lastly, the class mod bonus for the team could be damage resistance.

So what do you guys think? I know that if I had the opportunity to play this class and throw midgets around, gearbox would have to shut up and take my money! :D
