New Class idea: Pirate

Just a rough draft of a character idea that popped into my head. It's an idea for a pirate class, name Monte


Introduction

Backstory:
An up-and-coming space pirate, Monte has been hired by the Maliwan board of directors to infiltrate and discover the secret to the Eridium that has made Hyperion the leading company in the galaxy. Using Handsome Jack's call for vault hunters as a mean to move in unnoticed, Monte enters Pandora with only Maliwan's upfront pay, a prototype mini-cannon and a high-tech scope for his left eye.

Description:
Monte is a man in his late 20s, long dark hair and a thin mustache. He wears a long coat over a tight shirt, along side deep pocketed cargo pants and boots. He wears a track and mini-cannon on his right arm, which he keeps on his sleeve, and wears his scope over his left eye.
He tends to speak outloud, having little care (or respect) for those who have done nothing for him. He tends to get ahead of himself, often loosing sight of the objective due to his own greed or arrogance.
In combat, Monte will boast about himself, throwing out insults at his victims like there was no tomorrow.

Action Skill:
Piece of 8
Active: 8 seconds
while active, auto aim and lock on to critical hit locations
Cooldown: 20 seconds

Skill trees:


Booty Lover: A tree based around looting

Buccaneer: A tree based around being a one man fleet

Captain: A tree based around leading and dying for your crew


Booty Lover skills:


Golden Smile:
Increase critical hit damage up to +20% at max

Silver Tongue: (kill skill)
As long as Monte is talking, gun damage/explosive damage/drop value is increased by +15% at max. Whenever an enemy is killed with a critical hit, Monte will crack a joke/flirt with a female

C.R.E.A.M:
Picking up a non-item drop causes a boost to fire rate/reload speed of +20%

Looters High:
Picking up an item drop will increase cooldown rate/movement speed by up to +15%

Prize Fighter: (kill skill)
killing an enemy increases non-item drop values by up to +50% for 5 seconds

Double down (1 point passive)
Any non-item pick up values are doubled (ammo, money, eridium, crystals)

Parley:
When Monte's shield is dropped, it creates a burst that stuns any surrounding enemies, time stunned based on level.

Haggle:
Store prices are lowered up to 35% at max

X marks the Shot
Killing an enemy with a critical hit increases chance of rare drop rate, +300% at level 5

Endless Bounty
While Pieces of 8 is active, any critical hit will cause non-item drops



Buccaneer Skills:

Flintlock and Load:
Increases Reload speed, up to +40% at max

Jolly Roger:
Increases Shield recharge rate, up to 35% at max

Dutchman's Flight:
Being damage increases movement speed by 65% for up to 15 seconds at max

Smoke and Powder: (kill Skill)
Killing an enemy restores up to 10% of max ammo of the equipped weapon and one grenade

Cutthroat urge: (kill skill)
Kill an enemy increases gun damage by up to +30% for 5 seconds

Grognados (Melee override)
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Throws out a barrage of slag mines into front of him that land in a wide X pattern, explode either on contact or after 10 seconds

More Powder!:
Increases explosive and grenade damage by up to +45%/+30% at max

Alestrom: (action skill augmentation)
When Pieces of 8 is active, pressing the action skill button will cause Monte to fire a cannonball from his arm cannon, exploding into a large cloud of slag that damages overtime (damage increases with level)

Skull and Bones:
All damage done at close range is increased by +50% at max

Davey Jones' Locker:
Killing an enemy causes and surrounding enemies to be pulled towards Monte and stunned, explosion matches the element of the damage used to kill the enemy (explosion cannot kill)
cooldown time of 10 seconds


Captain Skills:

Reckless Abandon:
Increases damage taken/team reload speed, +20% at max

Sea Shanty:
Increases team Action skill cooldown, +25% at max

Rally Ho!:
Increases team critical hit damage, up to +30% at max

Hold Fast:
Increases Team FFyl time, up to +60% at max

Ride the Winds:
Increases team Fire rate in ffyl, up to +50% at max

Tell no Tales:
Getting a Kill Revive Automatically restores Action skill, allows use of action skill in ffyl

The Black Spot:
Increases team gun damage in ffyl by a max of +25% for every person in ffyl

All for one:
When in ffyl, teammates become targets. When a team mate is downed for a kill revive, gun damage and movement speed increased as long as they are in ffyl, up to +50% each at maximum

One for All:
When a teammate(s) is down, send self into ffyl, giving yourself and each teammate revived a boost in gun damage and health regeneration, up to +75% at max for 10 seconds

Down with the Ship:
In ffyl, guns do not need to be reloaded (ammo is still used however)
