Any and all feedback is welcome. This is my first shot at one of these.
Name: Alastor the Scientist (and his artificial buddy, Hermes)
Concept (what makes him different from the other Vault Hunters): Most characters have Action Skills augmented by Game Changers. Alastor is the other way around. He has a number of Game Changers on each Skill Tree, and his Action Skill augments them.
Appearance: Alastor is a thin man with light skin. By default, he has shoulderlength black hair and wears large googles. He wears a mechanical backpack (where Hermes' AI is stored) with wires coming from it to various devices on Alastor's body, including a high-tech watch on one wrist and a large metallic cuff on the other. (Will try to add concept art later)
Story: What he lacks in confidence, he makes up for in raw brilliance and sympaty. Alastor has one dream; to help people. He started as a medic-for-hire for the Dahl corporation, but found the pressure of healing people moments from death and the anguish of failure to be too overwhelming. So he went for the next best thing; building machines to keep people alive. He was far better with machines than people. Alastor saw the Hyperion Corporation to be the best place to follow this dream. After all, they created the New-U Systems. Alastor joined the company as an entry-level scientist and worked his way up, never quite getting a chance to build the machines he wanted, but making massive improvement to existing Hyperion equipment. Mr. Tassiter was impressed with the modifications Alastor made to the engineer-biosuit, allowing them to lift far beyond normal human capacity. Mr. Tassiter's opinions and approval of Alastor were short lived, however, as he disappeared a few months after Alastor joined the company. One of the satellite coders had been named the new Hyperion President. The coder, calling himself Handsome Jack, approached Alastor with the break he had been looking for - he asked Alastor to create a machine to facilitate survival in war situations and threw millions of dollars behind it. Using this, Alastor created Project Hermes, an AI that synergizes with the user and gives elemental feedback. After the project was completed though, Jack betrayed him, and Alastor was forced to flee the company, taking Project Hermes with him and vowing to stop the madman's murderous campaign.
Action Skill: Elemental Feedback - Activating the Action Skill causes Alastor to look at his high-tech watch, which displays the four elements on the screen. You select one element to start the skill and for the duration of the skill, you gain a 50% resistance and damage increase for that element. It also augments many of Alastor's Game Changer abilities with an elemental damage increase. Remains active while downed.
Melee Attack: Punches, with a large needle thrusting out from the wrist-cuff.
Skill Trees:

Scavenger 5/5: Increases the odds of ammunition and health being dropped by enemies, by up to 80%.
Smokescreen 1/1: After reloading, Alastor will drop a smokescreen, causing enemies to lose focus on him for a second (more useful in Co-Op)
Tier 5
Recharged 5/5: Achieving Second Wind increases weapon damage and melee damage by up to 42%

Jeffrey Blake - Good morning, Alastor. What can I do for you today?
Alastor - I wanted to report progress on Project Hermes. I've worked out all the bugs, and it's ready for Mr. Jack to use. I'll be by your office later today to turn it over to you.
Jeffrey Blake - That won't be necessary, Alastor. I'll be sending someone by to pick it up. Just leave it on your desk when you leave.
Alastor - W-When I leave?
Jeffrey Blake - Oh, yes. You're going to want to be leaving. Handsome Jack has expresssed a desire for there to be only one of these systems in the universe, so he's taking the necessary... precautions to ensure another isn't made. I recommend leaving the solar system post-haste.
Alastor - Oh God. OhGodOhGodohGodohGod. *hang up noise*
Hermes - YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE THAT S**T, MAN. WE GOT THIS!
Alastor - N-No, we don't. You don't have any offensive pr-protocols at the moment and I don't have any guns. We have to go.
Hermes - F**K. FINE. BUT WE'RE GETTING OFFENSIVE PROTOCOLS. I AIN'T HAVIN THIS S**T
Alastor - ...As much as it pains me to say it, I... agree.

Rare Loot:
Even I can tell it's good...
Oh my God...
Hermes: IF I HAD BOWELS I'D S**T MYSELF.
Comparing Loot:
This'd be easier if I used guns more often...
Alastor: What do you think, Hermes? Hermes: USE THEM ALL!
Just relax! You're a scientist! This should be easy...
Running over enemies:
I didn't mean it!
So sorry!
What a horrible way to go...
Hermes: HEEEHEEEHEEE!
Running into other players in vehicles:
Good thing there's no collision damage!
Hermes: WHO TAUGHT YOU TO DRIVE!?

YEAHAHA! MOOOVE!
It was an accident, I swear!
Does insurance cover ignorance?
Switching seats:
I need a better vantage point!
Not my expertise, let's switch!
I'd like to trade, please.
Idle lines
Hermes: HEY BUB. Alastor: What is it, Hermes? Hermes: I KNOW YOU HATE MY PERSONALITY CORE, AND I KNOW YOU CAN CHANGE IT. SO WHY HAVEN'T YOU? Alastor: Well... I needed you to be confident. Unafraid. Strong enough for the both of us... So I'm leaving it as it is. Hermes: THAT'S DEEP, BRO.
Alastor: I'd be lying if I said I didn't have all day, but still. My time would be better spent designing a new tool, or a weapon. But I guess this wall is pretty cool. Yeah. I like this wall. I'm going to call it Steve. Hello Steve. Hermes: ... DUDE, I CAN HEAR YOU.
Times like this, I almost miss Hyperion... OH S**T, I hope no one heard me...
I never thought the day would come where I would actually crave the satisfaction that mindless violent and questing brings! Anything, really.
Hey, player? It's me, Alastor. I'm not asking for much. Just some time. And to move. Anything, really.
Hermes: *singing* WE'RE NO STRANGERS TO LOOOVE! YOU KNOW THE RULES, AND SO DO I! A FULL COMMITMENT'S WHAT I'M, THINKING OF! YOU WOULDN'T GET THIS FROM ANY OTHER GUY! Alastor: What's that you're singing? Hermes: OH, NOTHING.
Alastor: I feel like this is the end, old friend. I can't move. I can't feel. I can't anything. I don't know this sensation, but I'd call it dying. Will I dream? Hermes: JUST WAIT FOR THE F**KER TO GET OFF THE TOILET, OR THE PHONE, OR WHATEVER, YOU DRAMA QUEEN.
Using Map:
Not my strong point here.
Hermes: GO THERE! Alastor: Where? Hermes: YOU KNOW. THERE!
I'm sure I'll figure out where I'm going when I'm moving.
Starting Duel:
Hey, I want to try something out
Let's spar, friend!
Go easy on me...
Hermes: YEAH B***H! TAKE IT!
Accepting a Duel:
Oooh! I'm excited!
Oh God, you're going to slaughter me...
Here goes nothing...
Hermes: FRY THEIR ASS, ALASTOR!
Winning a Duel:
I..I won?
ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO ME!
W..what just happened?
I just closed my eyes and panic'd!
Hermes: NOT EVEN MAD.
Duel ends in Tie:
Did better than I thought I would.
Geeze, I guess we both suck!
Hermes: UNACCEPTABLE!
Ah, good fight friend!
Losing a Duel:
Yeah, I saw that coming
I still got alot to learn.
Hermes: HAX! I CALL HAX!
Maybe I'll win next time!
Jack Voice:
This technology is simply fascinating! I must add it to my... Urgh, you know what? Nevermind.
Hermes: HEY ALA-- SON OF A B***H, I SOUND LIKE JACK TOO! Alastor: (laughter)
I'm Handsome Jack, and I have a micropenis.
It's a good thing I'm a rational man, or I'd have to slit my own throat...
Again, feel free to leave feedback, review, suggest, etc. :)

Hermes: IF I HAD BOWELS I'D S**T MYSELF.

Alastor: What do you think, Hermes? Hermes: USE THEM ALL!
Just relax! You're a scientist! This should be easy...
Running over enemies:
I didn't mean it!
So sorry!
