Character Concept: Cynthia the Metalhead

Borderlands 2 New Character Concept: The Metalhead

I actually got this idea from someone else on a different thread when he/she mentioned a Metal head character so i thought, "Hm, lets try that out actually"

Name: Cynthia the Metalhead

Backstory: Born on Pandora, Cynthia was a natural born rockstar. She would venture all across the planet to perform for the millions of fans who have come to love her beautiful scores of music. She was given her first guitar when she was 10 years old and almost immediately became a child protegy. When she first heard of Hyperion’s “plan” to save Pandora and rid the planet of it’s bandits, she thought it would help the Hyperion morale by playing for Hyperion loyalists at the entrance of Opportunity. Handsome Jack himself agreed to let her perform. When the time came to play, however, Hyperion officials learned of her parents’ allegiance with the Crimson Raiders and apprehended her and confiscated her guitar. Through several months of torture, Hyperion squeezed the information about her parents whereabouts out of Cynthia. After their assassination and the discarding of Cynthia in a desert, she swore vengeance against Hyperion and a cruel punishment for the Handsome Bastard for taking away her dream and her family. She spent days wondering the wastelands hardly stumbling upon any food sources until she finally discovered civilization. There, she recovered and obtained a new guitar, but found that she was unable to play or write the songs she used to. She could only sing of hatred and vengeance and her guitar reflected these feelings as well. She found out that her own music taken from her heart and her resentment toward Hyperion could be her weapon. The love of her family is her motivation. But she didn’t quite know how to destroy the indestructible Handsome Jack. While living at the town, she heard a rumor of the famous Vault of legend and that Hyperion wanted it open by any means necessary. Her purpose was clear. She would open the Vault to get back at Hyperion and use it’s power to wipe them out and annihilate Jack. She installed a digistruct device to her new guitar and made a few modifications. She then set off on her journey to wipe out Hyperion and came across others with the same goal. And her story begins…

Action Skill: Rock ‘n Roll
Cynthia digistructs her guitar and gets ready to play. During Rock ‘n Roll, Cynthia gains 75% damage reduction, bonus fire, corrosive, shock, explosive and slag damage, and spawns a 5 meter long area of effect circle centered on her. When Rock ‘n Roll is finished, Cynthia unleashes a heavy power chord that pushes enemies back, dealing explosive damage. Cynthia gains 30% movement speed during Rock ‘n Roll. Cooldown: 60 seconds.

Tier 4
