Eridian Playable Character Idea

This character would be a sort of elite Eridian (to those who somehow don't know, that's the ancient alien power in this game) soldier, who didn't like their way of life and defected to Pandora, drawn by the vault's power. (I guess all
Eridians are naturally drawn to vaults or something...I don't really know.) So that's the backstory.

Action Skill: Meteor Assault
When he (haven't worked out a name yet) uses his action skill, it will call down 5 or so large meteors in a large radius around him. The meteors do area of effect damage. They wouldn't be ultra-damaging, so cooldown would be about 20 seconds.

Skill Trees
His three skill trees would be Havoc, Elite, and Engineer. I'll give a breakdown of each skill tree and a few skills that would be part of them.

Engineer: His Engineer tree focuses on augmenting his action skill and also a little on elemental damage.
Examples:
Storm (5 max ranks): Another meteor added to the Meteor Assault each rank.
Followthrough (Action Skill augment, 1 max rank): While the Meteor Assault is happening, press the action skill button again to add one huge meteor.
Anomaly (5 max ranks): Gives all non-elemental guns a chance to cause a random elemental effect (2% per level)
Meteor Rampage (Final skill): You can use your action skill twice before the cooldown starts.

Elite: Similar to the commando's Gunpowder tree in that it slightly augments everything. However, focuses heavily on Kill Skills.
Examples:
Rampage (5 max ranks): Increases magazine size and reload speed.
Preparation (Kill Skill, 5 max ranks): Whenever you kill an enemy, decreases cooldown of Meteor Storm.
Supply Meteors (1 max rank): Meteors from your action skill explode into insta-health vials and sometimes ammo as well (Meteors still do damage as normal.)
Pandemonium (Kill Skill, 5 max ranks): Whenever you kill an enemy, a meteor falls on you (does not hurt you) and does fire damage to nearby enemies.
Haste (Final Skill): Whenever your shield recharge delay cools down, there is a 10 percent chance that your shields will instantly recharge.

Havoc: Tree that focuses on elemental damage, especially slag.
Well-Greased (5 max ranks): +10 percent weapon swap speed each rank ONLY when switching from a slag weapon.
Icky (1 max rank, Kill Skill): Creates a Corrosive Explosion every time you kill an enemy.
Vengeance (5 max ranks): Whenever you are affected by a status effect, gives a 5 percent chance each rank that that effect will be applied to your attacker.
Salt the Fields (Final Skill): Each one of your meteors will have a random elemental effect applied to it.

I would personally really like to play this class for a few reasons. First, I've never really liked any of the talent trees that focus on your action skill, but I think that the Engineer tree would create a very interesting battlefield. I also think that the game utilises so few AoEs that it'd be interesting to see an action skill based on it. Finally, the Eridians seem so cool and mysterious it'd be interesting to see one as a character. I'm also thinking about creating a relic exclusive to him that he would get on starting a new character that increased chances of E-tech drops.
