Hi everyone. I've been playing with illustrator for a few months now, doing design bits here and there, logos for friends, and the odd illustration.
I'd done a few Mass Effect poster designs, and I wanted to do something Borderlands-inspired, but I had no idea what I wanted to do. Until it struck me last night! I was originally going to do a couple of conference calls with The Bee in front, but figured most people wouldn't recognise it.
I went with the Hyperion logo at the top of the page, more because I really wasn't sure of what to put up there. I tried 'PING.' for the CCs, but it just looked bad. If anyone has a good idea of better text for the top, I'd love to hear it!
I stuck with the greyscale/red, which is a nice break from my usual work and references the CC (which has the red stripe and lots of detail... that you can't see).
Anyway, let me know what you think! I think it's my best piece so far, certainly took the most work. There's a link to my deviantart below, if you want to see my other stuff.
