The Bionic
I had this idea for a class, and it just generally evolved into this. it comes from the idea of gun customizing, making your own guns is a game breaking idea, and customizing should be left to characters... And right there and then(Light bulb flash!). What about a character who has a skill that let's him summon a customizable gun, and i just went thinking from there and it created A.C.E. "Arm Cannon of Eridium".
Action Skill:
When you press the action button, Ace's(Arm Cannon of Eridium" is his name) E-tech bionic arm transforms into an Eridium powered arm cannon that shoots 30 orbs that deal heavy splash damage. To stop using the cannon press the reload button, Depending on how many rounds are left in the chamber the cool down period speeds up. Cool down 60 seconds
Back ground:
A Hyperion project Before the events of borderlands 2. A living weapon prototype to be used as Hyperion personnel, weaponry, merchandise etc. The project involved first full grown men, mutilating them first and replacing their limbs with better robotic versions... It did not pan out, instead of thinking this might be failing due to their severe moral failures, they blamed it on the test subjects and thought that the subject needed to "adapt" with the limb before using them correctly, so child testing was approved. Test subject #453, 10 years old actually volunteered for a bionic arm(Kids are messed up).

Dr. Braun: You'll grow into it now, take this seriously. That is a multi billion weapon you're swinging around!
S#453: Aww, Take a chill pill, doc! How many 1 armed 10 years old were you gonna find that would volunteered for this?... Wait a minute...My arm... i can't control it! WHY IS IT DOING A JERKING OFF MOTION?
Dr. Braun: Calm down, #453! You're agitation must be interfering with the neural link!
S#453: Nah, just kidding... Wait, why are you taking cattle prod?

S#453: Man, Dr. Braun is taking this combat simulators way too seriously
Rabid Skags and half starved Rakks are one thing, but Threshers and Bullymongs are not good for my health... We should also talk about living quarters, i think my toilet is way too close to my bed, and my bed is way too close to my door...
Hyperion Lab Janitor: (Speaks with Mexican [Truxican?] accent) Hello? is someone in there?
S#453:Holy Skag balls, yeah hi! in here! who's there?
HLJ: I'm the janitor, what are you doing in that prison, kid?
S#453: i uhhh... volunteered
HLJ: volunteered?
S#453: Bear with me here, Hyperion needed some poor sucker to say yes to this, and that poor suckers was some 1 armed kid from Prometheus. Free bed and dining, 1 arm, and you only need to give them a few of your main rights... It seemed like a good idea at the time, but i also had only 1 arm and was starving at the time...
HLJ: Wow, kid... just wow... it says right outside your door Subject #453, is this what they call you, can i do anything to help you?
H.A.C: Technically, I'm the "Hyperion Arm Cannon" Prototype. and no don't try to help me, I volunteered, and they might do something worse to you... You can help me with this boredom though!
HLJ: H.A.C? Hyperion is the only damn good name in this company.... How about a story? It's about a far distant planet named Pandora, and it's legend... The vault...
H.A.C:... Yeah?

Dr. Braun: Good Effort out there, H.A.C. The team does enjoy your work out there with the varkids out there. Thought i did notice your movements to be a bit sluggish out there...
H.A.C: Yeah? is that right? I could have done better if the ammo to this thing wasn't so goddamn heavy, Also it runs out way too fast, Also it makes my shoulder itch!
Dr. Braun: Really? i thought maybe it had something to do, with that Janitor who's been feeding you stories about things you don't need to know about...
H.A.C: W...what?
Dr. Braun: We've been recording your progress, always have been, and we know about your friend. Maybe he's been distracting you, Slowing down your progress?
H.A.C: no wait, please! it isn't his fault! It really is the arm, the ammo it's too big... and... and it runs out too fast, isn't there some kind adjustment we can do to it?
Dr. Braun: I'm glad you asked actually... We've been doing testing with this new material called Eridium, surely your friend must have told you of Hyperion's president Handsome Jack opening the vault, right?
H.A.C: ....
Dr. Braun: If we install E-tech, the result of Eridium experiments. onto your arm, we can solve the weight and ammo issue...
