Canis the Defender

Chapter 1
Canis
A man walked along a dry, barren desert on his way to a train that departed in minutes. On his way he had fought bandits, insane men that he called psychos, and creatures beyond anyone's who doesn't make video games. HE looked around, and noticed a shimmer in the air before him. He threw out a small module, which quickly became a full sized shield, just as a sword came inches from his face. "Who are you?" The man asked as he finally saw a man fully hidden in a suit with a sword in his hand and a sniper rifle on his back. "1 4m Zer0" stated Zer0, "Y0u 4r3 4 w0rthy opponent, where are you heading?" The man to whom he had spoken to stated, "Bold words from someone who just tried to kill me, but I heard a train a while from here could help me find the vault." Zer0 then asked the man, "What is your name? I'm heading that way, and won't help you get their unless you give a name." The man looked at Zer0, who was obviously an assassin, and stated, "I'm Canis. Canis the defender."
