Well, given there is and hasn't been a Suggestions thread for Borderlands 2, or even 3 that will be out sooner rather than later...
I figured it was time that I made one that people might be on board with.
A special slot machine for making custom guns. I know the formula is already there in the loot system. And it wouldn't be that hard to add some special parts for it.
But yoou'd pay the basic entry free, and give the lever a spin. No problem there, just like the old one. It'd cost about twice the price of the standard slot, but yoou were guaranteed a weapon.
It'd have different levels of weapon rarity, leaving gold, cyan, and seraphim weapons on special slots next to that creepy guy that's identical to crazy earl in their doorways.
If you were looking for something specific though, it'd have four different slots you could put money in to select specific things.
Say you wanted a Jakobs revolver. So yoou'd select base. Then there'd be a slot for gun company. The third slot would be for element, as some of us loooong for a possible Jakobs spitting fire.
And the final fourth slot would be for ammunition, as the nice elemental weapons usually have ridiculously low round counts. Or spit through multiple bullets so you spend more time reloading than you do firing. If you have a reload special skill, sure its good.
But if you don't, well... its a hinderance.
