I'll write a more detailed explanation of what I did when I'm done doing it (lol), I figured I'd post a shot anyway because this looks cool already.

Here's the process in a jiffy:
-Get an old book
-Hollow it out
-Age the pages (or just the edges)
-Take a snapshot of the mod class you want in BL2, as big as possible, get a snapshot of the spine too
-Measure your book and adjust your snapshots accordingly with Photoshop or whatever
-Go to your local small print shop and print your images out on semi-gloss or matte label paper sheets
-Stick them on your book
On my to do list:
-Glue some construction paper to the inside to cover up any ugly parts
-Glue some ribbon or straps to the inside covers where the buckle will be and rig that up
-Done!
Total cost of project: About $10
