I mean really. Three different skill trees tuned to different play styles, Poor schmuck trapped in a place full of dangerous wildlife and insane marauders, and most likely will be a bit nuts himself?
But mostly the skill tree. It's asking for Borderlandsification.
(I'm just being silly. I wonder if we'll call him The Tribal or The Warrior.)
Action Skill: Takedown (20 seconds active, 42 seconds cool down.)
Jason switches to a bow and arrow, and his melee attack (Ordinary knife, basic swing) changes to a Tribal Knife and back stabbing animation. The bow and arrow has infinite ammo and a slight arc, and average damage, but has +400% Critical Damage (I'm just making it up here). If there are any other enemies present while an enemy is killed by a bow attack, they will go into "Panic", where they spend a second or two turning in the direction of the killed enemy.
Also during this time, any enemy taking melee damage from the back will take significant extra damage.

So yeah. I haven't actually thought all of this through. Well, you get the idea. I'd say the Heron tree is sniping and using the bow during Takedown, the Spider tree is for crouching and making the first sneak attack, and Shark is for mid-close range combat, and using the melee aspect of Takedown.
...Zero was my first character.
