He's a space viking.
I've had many ideas for new character classes, but this guy was the first one I drew. Besides lots of pretty guns, he wields a big rusty viking hammer. To perform his action skill, Hammer Quake, he smashes his hammer into the ground, dealing damage to everything around him.
This is his specialty...

Ice elemental damage doesn't deal much damage to enemies unless they're slagged. A slagged enemy hit with an ice gun takes enough damage to make it worth using aforementioned ice gun. On top of that, any enemy, slagged or not, move around 33-50% slower (depending on how balanced it is), when it's hit by a bullet o' cold.
Now back to Soren. The first of his three skill trees will focus on the new ice element. Making both ice and slag weapons better. Maybe one of the skills would change his AS to deal slag damage instead of non-elemental.
The second tree is all about making his action skill more awesome. wider range more damage, whatever you can think of.
Third tree... I'm not so sure about this one. But hey, that's why you guys are here. What do you think would fit?
